Henry Drummond (1851 - 1897) was a Scottish evangelist, writer and lecturer. His character was full of charm. His writings were too nicely adapted to the needs of his own day to justify the expectation that they would long survive it, but few men exercised more religious influence in their own generation, especially on young men. The Greatest Thing in the World is a meditation he wrote in the 1880s that illuminates the importance of 1 Corinthians 13: LOVE. This work is so classic that it has never been out of print since then.
The Greatest Thing in the World can be read in no more than half an hour, but it's a half an hour that can change your perception of LOVE, the greatest, most important force in our universe. The book explains the essence of love and provides profound insights on its purpose and how we may employ it in our daily lives. Read it, learn it, and do it. Your life will be fulfilled!
