Originally published in 1936 by the Spool Cotton Company, Imported Designs of Tatting contains many B/W photos of finished pieces of tatted edgings, insertions and medallions.
This book does not include working instructions for each design, as it is designed for the more experienced worker who can tell at a glance how to work out the designs from the illustration included. Nevertheless, the book shows in figures 1 to 10 the various steps in tatting and gives a description of the different steps to follow.
